Happy New Year

Pre Christmas Happenings

AnneMarie & Peyton were visiting from KY, staying with her parents in Los Altos.

Our neighbor's tree fell down last weekend. It just cracked in half.

It came so close to hitting our yurt. What's a yurt you ask?

This is our yurt.

It's sit on the one flat spot in our yard. About 200sq feet. It's our guest room/Eric's office. It does have heat for the winter and a fan for the summer. It has a bed, tv and Eric's drafting table. It's also storage for a bunch of junk. Eric made it and sewed the vinyl covering with his upholstery sewing machine.

Books

Looking at books is still one of Josephine's favorite things to do. She can be alone in her room for 20 minutes or more pulling books off her shelves and looking at the pictures. She even reads herself to sleep sometimes at nap time. A girl after my own heart. :-) 

Ten months old!

This last month flew by so fast. I'm sure this next one will too with Christmas just around the corner. Trying to enjoy every moment. Here's a taste of life in Josephine's world from the last month.

Before the cold weather

We checked out a little park near our house. It didn't really have any "baby" things but Josephine had fun exploring. This was two weeks ago when we had hot weather.
