4 month check-up
Even though Josephine is 4 months, 3 wks and 2 days old, she had her 4 month doctor apt. We saw a new doctor since her regular dr. had a last minute emergency. Right away this doctor guessed that she was overdue at birth b/c of how advanced she is. She's very strong and aware of what's going on. She is a little peanut. Her weight is in the 25th percentile and height just above the 50th. She's at the 10th percentile for height to weight. Her head is just below the 50th. Her weight is 13 lbs 6.5oz and height is 25 inches. The doctor thinks she doing great and is not worried about her weight. She's long and lean he said and right on target. She didn't like getting her three shots but she did great. She was a little fussier then usual and I got to enjoy holding and rocking her this evening. She often is too busy to snuggle up for more than a second or or two. We continue to be amazed by this beautiful gift from the Lord. She is such a sweet little baby.

Sierra Camp pictures and Josie w/ the two Peytons
These pictures are from a couple weeks ago when we went to Stanford Sierra Camp at Fallen Leaf Lake in South Lake Tahoe as part of my work responsibility. This was the 16th annual Healthy Living Retreat and I was able to bring Eric & Josie and my mom came to help out with Josie. While I was doing the fitness testing Eric and my mom took turns taking care of Josie. It was beautiful up there with pretty low levels of snow. Josephine tasted her first snow flake. We went on some short hikes with her. Can't wait to go back next year when she's a little bigger and able to go on longer hikes in the backpack carrier.

Anne-Marie and her daughter Peyton were in town visiting her parents so we stopped by to play. Anne-Marie and I used to work together and now they live in Kentucky. Peyton is about 6 wks older than Josephine. The girls had fun smiling at each other.

Josie and her other little friend Peyton. He's only 10 days old. They were snoozing together at the park. Peyton's mom Jayna and I work together.
