Memorial Service

Aunt Mil's memorial service. We all wore purple or blue since those are her favorite colors.

Half Moon Bay

Roger and Caroline's family, Karen's family, & my mom and dad all took the Amtrak train from Santa Barbara to San Jose on Thursday. Friday we spent the afternoon in Half Moon Day. We had lunch at Barbara's Fish trap and then went to the tide pools. Even at low tide it wasn't that low but the kids have fun on the rocks and playing in the sand and cold water. They did see some crabs, a starfish and a few other sea life. The sun tried to come out and the temps were pretty mild. You'll see the adults bundled up and the kids in swim suits and in the water. Saturday we spent most of the day in Berkeley for Aunt Mil's memorial service. Sunday Roger's family went to SF. We had fun watching home movies and hanging out together.

Saying goodbye to Aunt Mil

Sweet Aunt Mil passed away on Tuesday Aug 16 at 81 years young. It was unexpected and we all miss her very much. We love you Aunt Mil and can't wait to see you in Heaven. :)
