Josephine's stats

Josie had her 6 month check-up this past week even though she's 6 months and 3 weeks. She had her shots and did great. She's 14 lbs 11.6 oz (14th percentile), 25.5 inches (25th percentile), and her head is 16.73 inches (39th percentile). The doctor said she's right on track.

Cheerios

She doesn't eat just cheerios. We have this great baby food maker from Aunt Gaylynne and Uncle Bill. It steams food and purees it all in one. Josephine likes peas, butternut squash, peaches, sweet potatoes, green beans. Such fun!
We moved her into this booster seat which doesn't take up as much room and she can sit at the table with us.

Visits with friends

Cindy, Jayna, Debbie and I all worked together at SPRC and got together one Saturday with our kids. This is Cindy and Noah. I don't have a picture of her son Aidan or of Debbie and her boys.
Jayna holding Josie and little son Peyton is sleeping.
Annette used to work at SPRC. I went to visit her and her cuties Emma and Sofia.

Josie with her Sea Lion from Annette, Dave, Emma and Sofia. It's a very cute puppet. When I see it lying on the carpet I do a double take b/c it looks so real. She loves to rub her face in it.

The Hut

Eric's away for a couple days working on the Hut he started building many years ago. That guy has more perseverance than anyone I know. He's put his blood, sweat, and tears into this adorable log cabin that he built from scratch. It's located in Donner near Sugar Bowl ski resort. He started by cutting down the Lodge Pole pines on his property and brought them back to his mom's in Redwood City, prepped them and brought them back up. He's ready to be done so our little family can enjoy a couple days of R & R in the beautiful country side. Here are a couple pictures of the multi level hut.

There's a cute little door at the top for a snow escape if needed. The sleeping loft is the top level.
Wide enough to fit a double size air mattress.
Nice stone work.
I appreciate the composting toilet.
Ground ground level has space for the snow mobile and toilet.

Wednesdays

On Wednesdays I hang out with my Grandma Shirley and my cousin Paige.
Grandpa Rich is there to play too.
Cousin Paige is 3 months older.

Paige and I are learning to share our toys.

I love the Wednesday people!
