Josephine's Dedication

We had a family dedication in Shirley & Rich's backyard since my whole family was in town. We had one the following week in church during the scheduled dedication Sunday. It was a sweet ceremony in the backyard dedicating Josephine to the Lord and giving God the glory for what he has done in our journey so far. Brian, our pastor who performed our outdoor wedding ceremony in the beautiful Trinity Alps performed this special dedication. Dain, our Pastor to Families, performed the ceremony at church. That also was a special time to acknowledge before our church family our desire to raise Josie to love and follow Jesus and for them to commit to helping us do that. Our prayer for her comes from Ephesians 3:16-19.
I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your heart through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love which surpasses knowledge that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
