An Apple a Day.....

Keeps the doctor away. Josie finally had her 12 month well-baby check-up at 14 months. She's been a very healthy baby. She hasn't had a visit to the doctor outside of her well-baby visit. Well ok, I did take her in when her baby acne kept getting worse and we weren't sure if she had heat rash as well so at 8 or 10 wks we snuck in for a visit and of course they didn't do anything for her and she was fine. Other than that she's had some colds but no calls to the advice nurse and no visits so we'll continue giving her apples.
Here are her 14 month stats from Monday: 19 lbs 11 oz (so close to hitting the big 2-0) 12th percentile which is where she's basically been since 6 months old; 30 inches tall which moved her up to the 58th percentile; and her head circumference remains in the same percentile of 40th. She still just has her two front teeth on top and bottom but one on the bottom is coming in as is one on the top. They are taking their time. She continues to be very curious and very busy. She's now saying; hi, bye, wow, cold, no, thank you, book, up, mama, da da, papa, duck, moo, woof, maybe more...She likes to wave, blow kisses, give kisses with a loud smack, she still likes to raise her arms for "so big". She's very ticklish and likes to laugh although her belly laughs are few and far between. She's such a joy.
