There was a gathering at Shirley and Rich's with both sides of the family. Rich's daughter Natalie and husband Matt were there from Virginia with kids Caitlyn & Zach. Rich's son Rod with wife Kelly and kids Paige, Grant & Wyatt. Shirley's kids Jody and Eric and their families. 1st time, I think, we've all been together.
Along with a delicious lunch there was badminton and a birthday celebration.

Josie said she's "in love with hot water". Takes after her mom.
She's also in love with PBJ with pickles. She even eats them on the sandwich and not just on the side (takes after her mom).
 Cheers

We took the train to Mountain View to watch youth theater perform The Empire's New Clothes. We were so close to missing our train home. We ran the last 4 blocks as fast as we could until Josie was crying with a stomach ache when I had to scoop her up with everything else I was carrying and book it the last block with the train pulling up to the station. Praying the whole time that we would make it and so grateful when we did. The next train was leaving an hour later at 8:45pm. When we were finally sitting down Josie asked, "is your bucket overflowing with joy?" Yes it was!
Josie's friend from her old school, Mazzie, came over for a play date and we went to the park.
Josie loves to swing. Eric put up a swing on the tree in front but knew it couldn't stay there b/c it was kinda dangerous and didn't want to take a chance of some neighbor kid jumping on and falling off.
Papa Andy was visiting at John & Jody's so we stopped by for a quick visit before bed.
Sweet dreams little pumpkin with cute buns.
