August in Santa Barbara for Fiesta Weekend has now become an annual tradition with this year being our first. What a fun, festive weekend and I can't believe all these years that my parents have lived in SB I've never attended. It's super fun and Josie loved it. We arrived Thursday evening and Josie received a special fiesta dress from Katie, Luke, and Karen that they brought back from Spain. So adorable. Friday noon was the first parade so here Josie is ready to go. We went over to Karen's first.

Josie and Katie little senoritas.

The horse parade is the biggest in the country with over 500 horses from all over plus really cool floats.
One of many videos captured of the parade
Karen got there super early and put down a bunch of chairs.

After hanging out at the parade and grabbing some yummy tacos back to gram and papas to relax in the pool.

Friday evening I went with Karen and Luke to check out the plaza. Lots of food and vendors.

Saturday getting ready for the next parade.

Loved the colors all weekend.

Kid parade on State Street.

Judy and her son Gabe were visiting from Chicago and Gram and Papa's friends Pat and her husband joined us for the parade.

Post parade Gram and her girls.

All the girls.

Such colorful eggs for smashing on heads.

Josie loved the eggs and other vendor trinkets.

Plaza stage dancing.

Josie had fun at gram and papas playing with the little people.
Sad to leave after a great, full, festive weekend.
