10 weeks old & first cat fight

Poor little bugaboo looks like she had a cat fight in the middle of the night. I went in to get her one morning and she had scratches all over her face. She had managed to wiggle out of her swaddle (a.k.a. straight jacket) and pull her mitts off. Once her hands are free she doesn't know what to do with herself and gets agitated and goes for her face. Even when her nails are filed it's so hard to get them to a point that they don't scratch at all. She was all smiles when I went in so apparently it didn't bother her.
On a rainy Sunday we went to visit Aunt Mil in the rehab center in Oakland. She is progressing well after her knee replacement surgery. I forgot the diaper bag at home (first time) and really needed it. Fortunately there was a pediatric unit on the floor above so the nurse went up and got me a diaper. We were grateful for it. Aunt Mil with her hydrangea plant.

Josephine had her 2-month appt this week. She received her shots and was such a trooper. She did great with the oral vaccine and cried pretty hard when three different needles went into her thigh. It was her lunch time so I feed her in a little room after and she was fine. She took some great naps. The traumatic morning wiped her out. A couple pictures waiting for the doctor after the nurse took all her measurements. She's at the 50th % for weight and 60th % for height.

  1. Poor Josephine! Her little face...maybe it is itchy during the night. Can't wait to see you three soon.
P.S. Thanks for delivery the beautiful plant. Aunt Mil called and loved it!
