Eric left for Mexico on Friday morning 3/30 with the 140 high school students and adults from PCC. Karen and Katie arrived Wednesday night and Josie and I picked them up at the San Jose train station. I had to work Thursday morning and in the afternoon we went to the park. It was really windy and chilly out.

On Thursday night Eric's cousin's Greg and Kim and their kids, Spencer & Carter, were in town from Washington state. Josie and I hadn't met these cousins so Jody and John invited us over for dinner, Karen and Katie too. We had a great evening with Eric's family. His dad and step mom were also there.

Kirsten, Katie, & Spencer are all taking piano lessons so they each played for us. Spencer played a tough classical piece followed by the theme to Chariots of Fire with Katie acting it out.

Grandma Kay and Papa Andy
On Friday Karen, Katie, Josie & I went to visit Uncle Hank and had lunch with our friends Pat and Don in Oakland. We played in the park for a little bit. It was a much nicer day. We ended the day with Josie and Katie coloring some Easter eggs.

Friday night Luke arrived. We spent Saturday at a track meet at Stanford. Our cousin's Julie and Craig were there with their sons Trent and Tyler who were invited to run in the Stanford Invitational for high schools. College runners were there too. Trent's event was at 10am and Tyler's event was at 5pm. What a beautiful sunny day. Trent ran a PR in the 1500 and came in 5th. We had lunch at the Cool Cafe at the Stanford Cantor Art Museum and walked through some of the exhibits. We went back to the meet to watch other events. We walked around University Ave in Palo Alto and stopped in to see cousin Janet in her shop. We ate some frozen yogurt and ran into the Easter bunny.

Eric came home Saturday evening. We were so happy to have him home safe and sound.
