Anderson Family Bluegrass Band

Our favorite bluegrass band from Grass Valley, The Anderson Family, emailed that they were playing at the Swedish American Hall in SF on Saturday night. We were so excited to see them. They were the awesome band that played at our wedding in the Shasta Mountains (appropriate for the Anderson Family to be playing at an Anderson/Anderson wedding). We also heard them last summer for Eric's birthday at the Nevada County Fair. They sounded great last night and they were excited to meet Josephine. Josephine is learning at a young age to love bluegrass even though she slept through it. It was fun having cousins, Stephen, Janet, & Evan come too. We had a great dinner with them after at home. We get a kick out of saying that. Our new favorite restaurant is called Home and they have fabulous comfort food at reasonable prices. It's on the corner of Market and Church right by the Swedish American Hall. I'm including some pics of the Anderson Family at our wedding reception, at the county fair last summer and from last night. Check out their website.

We had some visitors this week: Joanna, friend from PCC and Alma one of my running buddies and work/grad school friends. Eric's Dad and Kay came by today with granddaughter, Megan. Other pics are: Josephine wearing cousin Katie's little pink hand-me-down outfit to church this morning, She's wearing cousin Oliver & Miller's little blue outfit with knit booties from Aunt Mil's friend Pat. Her feet are so skinny she can't keep socks or booties on for more than 10 seconds. Eric took a picture of her sleeping and dreaming about scoring a touch down - another shot of her with her arms straight up in the air. I guess that's a comfortable position. Josie attended two birthday parties in the last 2 weeks but only one did she manage to wake up for. She slept through Tara's birthday but managed to wake up to take a picture with birthday girl Rachel.
