Thanksgiving Day part 1

We started off our day with a candle-lit breakfast of almond meal pancakes and talked about what we are thankful for. The list will have to be continued because Josie was focused on her surroundings. Josie said, "Thank you God for: candles, napkin, cleaning, and Mommy & Daddy." Eric said, "Thank you God for: being alive, having an awesome family, my wood shop and tools, my remaining eyesight and $1 reading glasses." I said, "Thank you God for: my awesome family (best husband and daughter) and friends, running and good health, jobs for both of us, relationship with Jesus." We will continue to add to our Thank you God list.

Helping wash the dishes.
Laureola Park had a makeover and it has some really cool play structures. This was our first time seeing it. Josie has her train apron on for collecting treasures. Her cozy Alpaca fur hat is a hand-me-down from Katie which I brought back from Peru.

When we got home from the park Josie got her blankie and paci and rested on floor in front of the unlit wood stove. She still needed to eat lunch before she could nap. She ended up napping for about 90 min.
