We left SFO on 12/24 around 9:30 am. The first flight to Chicago went smooth. Josie didn't sleep at all but she did really well. Here she is eating her pbj. We had a short layover in Chicago long enough for Eric to get some food and for a diaper change. The 2nd flight to Hartford went smoothly as well and Josie did take a nap. We arrived around 7:30pm. Once we got off the plane Josie had her melt down. Roger, Oliver, & Miller and Papa were waiting just outside security for us so that was fun. Josie was happy to see them.
A few presents were opened before bed. Gram read a Christmas book and then the kids were whisked off to bed.

Christmas evening we celebrated Caroline's birthday. Gram and Papa cooked a delicious prime rib dinner.
