We had a delicously lazy morning after mom having to be up at 5 am for work all week and putting in a 12 hour day yesterday. We took a trip to Starbucks and the post office. Giraffy came along too. Josie is still in her p-jam shirt as she now calls her pjs. Actually two p-jam shirts, no pants (besides undies) and pink boots. Very stylish (and of course drew a lot of attention). We finally got a gift off to baby Lily in Chicago.
Kaira came over to play and the girls ate lunch on the deck, got out the tool boxes to make a "tree house" and then did some art projects; pasting, cutting, & coloring. They also played tennis in the house with a tennis ball and rubber measuring cups and played in Josie's room with various things. They did pretty good for almost 3 hrs together in a small house.
Kaira said she was tired so they both climbed in bed. Sometime they'll probably be having sleep overs together but for now hiding under covers and jumping in bed is super fun.
Time to walk Kaira home.
