This was our 3rd year cutting down our tree. I must admit I was ambivalent about it and was tempted to pick one out at Home Depot. It's quicker and less expensive and probably just as nice. We headed up the hill to skyline on a Saturday morning after the rains. Being on the farm reminded me why we do it every year. There's something fun about searching for just the right tree together and it was so fresh and pretty with trees every where. It was worth it for sure.
